HOW OFTEN have you been on a ride and wondered how much further you would have to travel to arrive at the next pit stop for a drink? I think we’ve all been there at some point or another. Well, happily, we found the solution in the new MultiBev from Camelbak.

No doubt many of us already own a vacuum flask, but the 2-in-1 MultiBev vessel takes it to a new level, thanks to its convenience and versatility. It doesn’t matter if you find yourself on a long, lonely road, because the vessel will keep your drink at the perfect temperature for hours. Plus the vessel comes with the Pak Cap which conveniently stores a silicone cup lid, snacks, or other small essentials.

When closed, the 500ml/17oz bottle keeps beverages hot for up to 14 hours and cold for 20. And as for the 350ml/12oz cup, you can expect three hours for hot drinks and six hours for cold. Simply twist the dirt-free cup off the water bottle and it becomes its own lightweight, conveniently sized travel cup. Both the bottle and travel cup are constructed in double-wall vacuum stainless steel. When you arrive at your destination or are back home after a round trip, simply pop both vessels – which feature a durable full powder coat finish – in the dishwasher. Job done.

Other features include a non-slip silicone base; universal cap compatible with Chute Mag, Eddy, Carry Cap and Hot Cap vessels; sweat-proof insulation; and comfortable carry handle. What’s more, the MultiBev offers a brilliant sustainable solution to disposable bottles and cups.

Just think about it. Sixteen billion disposable coffee cups are used each year, of which most have plastic lids and use plastic to laminate the inside. With the MultiBev, you get a water bottle and travel cup all in one, and  as Camelbak quite rightly states: Carry less. Drink more. Waste nothing.

The MultiBev is now on sale online at John Lewis where it is currently available only in Black, although other colour variants are White, Terracotta rose and Moss/Mint. Two sizes are available: a 650ml bottle with a 450ml travel cup at £49.99, or a 500ml bottle with a 350ml travel cup at £54.99.
