Part of Oxford Products’ Advanced Rider Series, the new Hinterland suit employs Dry2Dry Trilaminate materials which offer outstanding waterproofing, breathability, tear strength and abrasion resistance the latter resulting in an impressive AA CE approval.
As a biker, you may well have experienced the fact that some conventional protective fabrics often add bulk and restrict movement. By using Trilam Active, Oxford has added targeted four-way stretch areas for increased comfort whilst maintaining high abrasion results, stronger seams and significantly better waterproof breathability ratings.
The Hinterland also boasts Polartec Power Grid, which works on the thermal liner to manage moisture and provide warmth. Key placement provides stretch on the internal layers that match the Trilaminate Active outer shell. Integrated Dynamic Adjusters, located in key areas inside the garment, automatically reduce excess bulk when the WarmDry thermal liner is removed.
The Oxford Hinterland Advanced Jacket also features forearm and torso zip open ventilation, plus upper back exhaust ventilation. The zips are water-resistant, and the jacket comes with a back protector pocket, side entry rear pocket, and reflective printing. Retailing at £299.99, available colours are Black/Grey/Fluo, Navy, and Stealth Black. The three-layer stretch Hinterland Pant comes with Level 1 CE knee protectors; quick detach braces, waterproof cuff expansion, Tri-Glide webbing waist adjustment, YKK slide lock closure, hip protector pockets, dual side entry pockets, and 360-degree and short connecting zips. The trousers retail at £249.99 and are available in sizes Long, Regular and Short.
